Death Lords

A World of Warcraft Guild

Welcome

Hi, and welcome to Death Lords home page, a Horde World of Warcraft guild on the Proudmoore server! Feel free to browse, and be sure to check back for updates! Thanks for visiting, please sign the log book, and we hope to hear from you.

We are the resurrection of an old Proudmoore guild, Sanguis Malus. Many of the folks that started this guild came from Sanguis. If you want to check out the current guild membership for Death Lords, go to Blizzard's Armory or check us out on Warcraft Realms.

We have approximately 70 level 70's - this puts us in the top twenty horde guilds on the realm -  and have Ramparts, Blood Furnace, Slave Pens, UnderBog  and have all other pre Karazhan instances on  farm status. We also have the key for Upper Black Rock Spire. Many of us are attuned for  Karazhan  and are helping others with attunement and gearing up for  Karazhan when possible. Our main focus is on leveling and gearing more of our online friends so we have the help we need in Karazhan and PvP. We are doing heroic instances as well.

PS.. Our official Guild birthday is March 24, 2007

Is Death Lords for you?

Are you looking for a mature, family friendly guild with an emphasis on fun, no drama, and helping each other? This guild may be for you!

We accept all levels and classes. We aren't  picky about your specification either - i.e. how you spent your talent points. Our goal is to build a guild to level together, quest together, and to form new friendships. We do raids and instances. Raiding is adhoc during the week right now with a scheduled Sunday  Karazhan  run. We occasionally partner with other guilds for raids. As we grow, we can look more at scheduling runs. Good times for runs appear to be 4:00PM and 7:00PM server time during the week(Mainly Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) and 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM server time on Saturdays and Sundays. We will be using an in game raid scheduler soon -- it will most likely be Group Calendar. And no, we don't use DKP. More details can be found at our Raid and Event Planning page.

It's nice if you're active in guild chat and or sign into our Ventrilo server. Both are NOT a requirement for guild membership. Ventrilo IS a requirement for certain raids. And no, we don't care if you belong to other guilds or how often you sign in. When you do sign in, say hi! Nice to hear that your logging off too!

We have folks that are active in PvP. Some have an interest in arena combat as well. We do have a good mix of professions in the guild -- from the beginning to the high level trades. We do try and help each other level the professions. Help includes sharing materials --offering up recipes, armor, weapons, and of course -- advice.

Who are we? Dads, moms, girls, students, kids, military and ex-military. We have folks from all over the world in the guild. I've logged on at 3:00AM server time and have seen folks raiding. I'm Washington  D.C. based -- but you will see me on  early and late. If Death Lords is for you, whisper one of us in game. You can run /who Death Lords while in game to see who is on line.

Is Death Lords NOT for you?

How do you know if Death Lords is NOT for you? Are you going to be doing one of the following:
  1. Are you here for the short term so you can level/twink your character?
  2. Asking for money or loans constantly?
  3. Pestering the guild and the higher level members for someone to run you through an instance? ( to be clear... we sometimes do this for folks... we don't like the constant begging)
  4. Raiding the guild vault for items to sell?
  5. Getting upset because someone missrolled on an item in an instance? (appeal to an officer... we'll do our best to work it out)
  6. Not willing to follow raid etiquette and loot rules?
  7. Getting upset because someone doesn't play their character well or plays their character differently than you?
  8. Charging guild members for loot drops or instance runs?
  9. Not willing to donate materials to the guild bank or to others in the guild to help them level?
  10. Not willing to help others complete quests you have been on before? (and that we probably helped you complete...)
  11. Spamming guild chat just to be talkative? -- i.e. putting in constant messages in chat so questions can't be seen
  12. Using foul/abusive/racist/sexist language in guild chat?
  13. Continues to espouse a point of view -- especially religious or political --after being asked to stop.

Any one of these will get you a warning from an officer. Ignoring the warning will get you removed from the guild. Period.
